Bianca Barth, Policy officer (climate/energy)

Bianca Barth has worked in different research projects at the Environmental Policy Research Center, Berlin dealing with climate policies and providing policy advice on ecological industrial policy to the German Ministry of the Environment. She organized the 2003 Berlin Conference on the Human Dimensions of Global Environmental Change: Governance for Industrial Transformation. Bianca holds a Diploma in Polictial Science from the Freie Universität Berlin. Whilst studying, she devoted most of her free time to different campaigns and projects concerning climate change, renewable energy and GMOs with several NGOs. She was part of the Friends of the Earth delegation to the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg and was also responsible for the complete organization of an information campaign on the risks and dangers of GMOs in cooperation with the national Friends of the Earth groups in Central America.
