Birgit Menge, Intern – Office, London
Birgit Menge finished her ‘A’ levels in English, History, Math and German in 2001 at Rudolf Steiner School Bochum, Germany. She spent one year in Norway doing a sports and outdoor-life course and more than two years in London being a nanny. After this she did an internship in the marketing department at the GLS Bank in Bochum, the first German ethical and ecological bank, and has been volunteering since the summer of 2007 for Tourism Concern, a charity fighting exploitation in the global tourism industry. Since 2006 she has been studying Marketing and International Tourism Management in London at undergraduate level. Birgit joined the WFC team in September 2007 on a part-time basis.
