Radhika Perrot, Intern, Brussels Office
Radhika Perrot is an intern at the WFC Brussels office working on energy and climate change at the EU level. She joined in March 2008. She is pursuing a PhD from the United Nations University- University of Maastricht, The Netherlands. Her research thesis looks at renewable energy technologies and firm strategic behavior towards innovation using the innovation systems framework. Before moving to The Netherlands in 2005, Radhika, of Indian origin, had worked in India as a researcher and a journalist covering various aspects of technology and innovation. She worked as a journalist with Dataquest, which is a premier magazine in the Indian IT sector, where she covered the news and technology section of the Indian software industry. She then joined the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) as a Research Associate, to study and work on knowledge transfers between firms in knowledge clusters like Bangalore. She surveyed and studied linkages between universities and firms. She has a B.Sc in Economics from the University of Calcutta, and M.A (Economics) from M.S University, India.
